Glengarry Community Hall - Highland

Fabulous volunteer run community centre. Great stop for tea/coffee and homemade cakes. Very clean toilets

Lovely quick stop between Fort William and Inverness. WC, coffee, friendly folks running the centre, and delicious homemade meringues!

We spotted this place by chance (it wasn't listed as a cafe on Google) as we were driving through Glengarry and stopped for lunch at the cafe. What a lovely Village Hall facility (I am a Village Hall volunteer myself). The volunteer run cafe was excellent, the ladies were so friendly and efficient. We had toasties with salad, a cafetiere of coffee and 2 homemade cakes, with change from £20. Bloomin marvellous.

Super clean and well maintained. I wish there was a tap/card donate option so I could have donated — right now there’s only a coin slot. Thank you for creating such a nice rest stop!

Good if you want to play badminton with its high roof and windows. Not so good for heating and if the sun is shining showing slides to an audience is not possible. The top windows cannot be blacked out. Good kitchen and a couple of side rooms available too. Toilets are adequate. Large car park.
