Rio Alto - High River

Wow me and my hubby went for dinner there this evening. I can’t believe we haven’t been here before. The beef quesadilla was too die for. Hands down best guacamole we ever had! Can’t wait to return and try some other items on the menu. The staff and owner were so polite and friendly. Thank you for the lovely evening

This restaurant is amazing. The food tastes authentic, just like in Mexico. The owners are incredibly friendly. My wife and I have been in High River for three days and we have eaten at Rio Alto three times. We highly recommend it.

I had the best Mexican food of my life at this restaurant. Everything is very fresh and natural, making it very healthy and, of course, delicious. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The bread is especially delicious. The owner has a true passion for cooking, which is apparent in the special taste of the food.

Came across this place on our way through town. Initial service was slower due to other customers but once we were greeted the fellow was quick to bring chips and house made salsa and share the specials and recommend items. Ordered tacos and the 5 layer dip and food came within minutes and the whole meal for 2 was under 20 bucks. If you want authentic Mexican food from people who have a passion for their food take your business here.

Great place to eat, all the staff and the owner are super friendly and the food is amazing, I highly recommend eating here!
