Thai Bangkok - High Point

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely be returning!

I had a craving for Thai food and came across this restaurant, which had good ratings. However, I was disappointed to find that the food was just average—neither outstanding nor terrible. I ordered the tofu pad Thai, which lacked the tanginess I've come to expect from this dish. The fresh vegetables, herbs, peanuts, and egg were almost nonexistent. On the positive side, it seemed to contain real tamarind sauce, but overall, the flavor fell flat. The second dish I tried was the papaya salad, but that was also disappointing. The fish sauce was overly salty without any tang or spiciness.

I visited this restaurant two weeks ago for my friend's birthday, and I was disappointed with the experience. The waitress was quite rude, and when we requested hot pepper oil, they didn’t have it available. I wasn't expecting that, especially from a Thai restaurant. I definitely won't be returning!

I hate to leave poor reviews on local or family owned business. I carefully read many of the other reviews and would have to agree with most of them. The food was tasty, but really not impressive. The service was polite to me and I didn’t wittiness any racism. Many of the little touches you’d expect from a Tai restaurant were missing. Rather than return as a repeat customer, I’ll try other places in the future.

Very racist male worker who visibly treats people completely different when entering shop. The food was also just rushed and tossed together not authentic. Would highly recommend driving to thai corner on battleground than coming here.
