Chu's Express - High Point

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I ordered food for my entire team at work, and everyone absolutely loved it! The value is incredible, the flavors are delightful, and the staff is incredibly accommodating. Mr. Chu even took the time to prepare the food himself. Thank you for a fantastic lunch!

The food is decent, but lacks much flavor. I ordered the hot honey chicken, and it wasn't spicy at all. However, the lunch specials are reasonably priced.

The food lacked flavor and didn't resemble authentic Chinese cuisine at all! I wouldn't recommend this place; it's not worth your money.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would! The food was terrible! We ordered General Tso's chicken with vegetable fried rice and a vegetable spring roll, as well as sesame chicken with pork fried rice and another vegetable roll. The rice was clearly overcooked, and both chicken dishes were lacking in flavor. But that wasn't even the worst part! Less than 10 minutes after trying to eat what we could, we ended up on the side of the road throwing up! To make matters worse, the fortune cookies had no fortunes in them, and they tasted stale and old! We called the restaurant to let them know that something might have been wrong with the food, possibly the chicken. The manager's response was simply, "I'm sorry, but I don't know what you want me to do about it."

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered in a hurry and didn't realize I had called the wrong location until it was too late. I won’t be making that mistake again. There were no sauces included in the bag, and the pork in my rice had a mix of large chunks and small, burnt pieces. The chicken was covered in way too much breading. I wasted $30 on this meal.
