Barberitos - High Point

Among all the fast-casual Tex-Mex and Spanish dining options in the area (Moe's, Chipotle, etc.), Barberitos stands out as my absolute favorite. I called in an order at 8:42 PM, fully anticipating that I might be turned away, but Josh was incredibly kind and took my order without any hesitation. I arrived at 8:48 PM, and my meal was ready and waiting for me! There were no issues with my order, and I even received a generous bag of chips. As someone who is pregnant and just finishing my first trimester, I can honestly say that I’ve been dreaming about their tomatillo salsa. I’ll definitely be ordering it by the pint next time!

Parking: There's plenty of parking available, but getting in and out of the area can be tricky, requiring quite a few U-turns when you're leaving.

Another reviewer mentioned the cramped parking, and I agree. It can be a bit tricky during lunchtime, but since it's part of a complex, you can usually find another spot and walk down the sidewalk. I haven’t had a problem with the limited seating that was also mentioned; it tends to be mostly solo diners, so they usually finish quickly. This is probably my favorite place for lunch. I occasionally stop by on weekends, and it's much less hectic than during the weekdays. They also handle a large take-out business. You definitely need to give this place a try!

I only have one complaint about Barberito's: they could be a bit more generous with the cheese dip! They should definitely have the staff fill the cups a little more. It’s disappointing!

I consistently have issues with my order at this restaurant. I'm not sure what the problem is, but they never include the shredded cheese I request, and I really can't imagine having a burrito or bowl without it. Other locations provide a much better experience, but unfortunately, this one is the closest to home. The last time we visited, we seriously considered not ordering here again due to past disappointments, and we should have trusted our instincts. The food was bland; it seemed like nothing was seasoned properly. To top it off, they forgot my cheese once more.
