Bara Kabab House - High Point

The food is incredible! The portion sizes are generous, the service is efficient, and the flavors are fantastic. I ordered the chicken kabob, my husband had the chicken shawarma, and we shared baklava and basbousa for dessert. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

I dined at this restaurant today for the first time, and I'm certain it won't be my last visit. To begin with, the owners are incredibly friendly and courteous. The food is the best Middle Eastern cuisine I've tasted after trying numerous places over the 19 or 20 years I've lived in this area. Everything is fresh, delicious, and seasoned to perfection, and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to give it a shot. I ordered the shish tawook, which consists of tender chunks of chicken served with the best rice I've ever had, along with pita bread, cucumber sauce, and a side salad. For dessert, I highly recommend the basbousa, but I look forward to trying other options next time, as I'm sure they’ll be just as delightful. Give this place a chance—you won’t be disappointed!

The service was good, but the portion sizes were far too small compared to what we paid. It was decent, but not what we were hoping for.

The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was friendly, but the waitress didn't seem to listen well. My boyfriend ordered the chicken kebab, but when she read the order back, she mistakenly said beef. He politely corrected her. I ordered our daughter a cheeseburger with just ketchup, but when our food arrived, my boyfriend received something that looked like it belonged in a Star Wars movie, and our daughter's burger had all the toppings on it instead of just ketchup. My order was correct, but it was quite bland and tasteless. I don't think we'll be dining there again.
