South 16 - High Peak

We absolutely adored this unique restaurant for celebrating our anniversary. The ambiance was charming, even though the decor appeared a bit worn. Nuno was an excellent host and Karen's artwork in the window display was breathtaking. Don't miss out on this incredible dining experience.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful, the music was great, and the tapas were some of the best I've ever had. The resident dog was also super sweet!

The food was fantastic. We tried the sliders that came with various Mexican dressings to taste. My favorite was the tacos.

What a hidden gem! my mother and I stumbled over this place during an overnight last weekend. we had tried to reserve a table in a few other top rated restaurants (as on tripadvisor), but they could not put us, but south 16 (our third attempt) had space, last minute on a Saturday night. the staff were all kind, friendly and attentive. there is a well-stocked bar and the area is clean, comfortable and relaxed. I'm a big eater and I appreciate great tasting. These are tapas on another level. we ordered 5 dishes between 2 of us and it was about right. Top brands to cook! we will return next time in buxton.
