Wizard's Saloon - Hickory

Went with the girls after work. Had a blast. Cool bar to hang out in. I will definitely be going back.

It was closed when I pulled in, but I've heard they have done some renovations.

Great atmosphere and great music. Owner is super, super nice. But if you're a female, send a male to the bar for you. You'll sit there for 30 minutes while you watch every man that comes in after you get served before the bartender even thinks to ask if you want something, despite having money in your hand the whole time and trying to get her attention more than once. I've been here twice for the shows, different bartenders, and it's happened both times. I was sitting right beside the register they walked to several dozen times to pay for a male's beer but it's like they never even saw me even when I was trying to speak to them.

Living in Hickory from '07 to '10. When we first came there, we asked where the best biker bar was in town. We were judged here. Big bands, great people, great owners, Mike Becky. I'd like to be back. Bill Kathy
