Village Inn Pizza - Hickory

I was disappointed with the bar service on the night of my visit to Village Inn. The pizza lacked the usual Flacco in the crust that I normally enjoy. The service was decent, but not exceptional. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant. I recommend trying the Pizza and Salad Buffet. The price per person for dinner was around $10–20.

I usually don’t leave reviews and I usually take into consideration different things that could affect an experience. The last 2 visits we’ve had at the Village Inn in Bethlehem, NC has been awful! The salad bar has been very messy, some containers empty and had to wait longer than we should have for pizza to be on the buffet. Tonight, we waited 30 minutes for any kind of pizza to be on the buffet while workers are on their phones not doing anything. This Village Inn is convenient to us being less than 2 minutes down the road, but we will drive the extra to eat at the one in Hickory!

I like the layout of this restaurant. Usually it is a pretty easy quick meal. Usually This particular VIP keeps the Buffet stocked up. Tonight idk what the deal was but it was lacking in almost every way. Buffet was low on pizza and salad the entire time. The place was a mess with dirty dishes and tables. And the ice cream machine stopped working mid visit. For the majority of these reasons is why I stopped going to the one in Taylorsville. Hate to say it but was slightly disappointed this time.
