Cafe Gouda - Hickory

There was ample parking available. We experienced a relatively short wait time. The food was delicious, and dining on the patio was fantastic, especially enjoying the sun and spending time with my daughter!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I wasn't sure what to order. The staff were very patient and friendly. I ended up getting a burger and fries, and they were excellent! I would definitely return and maybe try something different next time.

I have always enjoyed Gouda until last week. I ordered the Gouda Philly. It was the worst Philly one good imagine. The beef was overcooked to the point one might have thought it was beef jerky. I ate the bread and cheese. My dog got the rest. I should havesent it back.

The breakfast sandwich I had was quite mediocre at best. It consisted of rye bread, egg, cheese, and bacon, but it was so dry that it really detracted from the experience of trying a new restaurant. It felt like they might have forgotten to butter it. I had higher expectations considering the reviews and the long wait time after placing my order.

Cafe Gouda is a fantastic local gem that serves delicious and healthy food, with a great variety of breakfast and lunch options. Each visit offers a chance to enjoy a traditional meal as well as some build-your-own choices. The coffee selection is also quite enjoyable. Plus, the service is outstanding. Overall, you'll have a lovely experience at Cafe Gouda!
