Pitaz - Hiawatha

This is my favorite place for medium-east food. The gyros are great and the bowls are also really good. But one of my faves is the kibbe. They sound and look weird, but they're very tasty. I get the garlic sauce with them, but the sweet chili tried and it was also good.

The food here is always outstanding. I decided to give it four stars instead of five because it took quite a while for the dishes to arrive (I understand it’s due to staffing issues, and I was patient about it). Additionally, the ambiance was lacking, and the cleanliness could have been better (which I assume is also related to staffing). Despite that, I will definitely return to this location or the NewBo one.

I found the online ordering process to be incredibly simple and effective! The food was just as I requested, even with multiple special instructions, and it was absolutely delicious. It arrived ahead of schedule, and they were flexible in accommodating the earlier delivery. I look forward to becoming a regular customer here!

The menu is fantastic, the service is excellent, and they have the best hummus in the area! The chicken shawarma was delicious. The dining area is a bit tight, but the food more than makes up for it. The portion sizes are great as well!

Amazing! I recommend the chicken-shawarma pita if you are not sure what to get. It is so tasteful and very fillable! They are also very favorable for quality. Also for someone who doesn't even like hummus, their hummus are addicted with Pita chips!
