Everything was excellent! The service was top-notch, and we dined in for dinner. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere also a 5.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable, making sure we were well-fed and hydrated. The steak I ordered was absolutely fantastic. However, the restroom could use a bit more space. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

I had heard good things about this restaurant, so I decided to give First Street Bar and Grill a try for lunch since I'll be in the Hiawatha area regularly for business over the next couple of years. However, I don't recommend going if you're in a hurry! I sat down at a table and waited... and waited... and waited some more. After fifteen minutes without even being offered a menu, I decided to leave. The place was busy, but there was only one server handling all the tables, which made me realize I might not have the time to dine there comfortably. I’m not sure if they’re struggling to find staff or if they just run on a very tight crew. I've heard that many employers in this part of Kansas are looking for workers but can't find applicants for open positions. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to spend two hours on lunch. I wanted to give this place a chance, but I think I'll stick to other options nearby. There’s a Subway, Pizza Hut, and a pretty good Mexican restaurant just blocks away that I can easily go to instead.
