Asian Garden Chinese Food Sushi

There was too much grease in the rice. I suspect the owner has changed. I had to discard all of the fried rice.

I usually don't write reviews unless a place is either exceptional or terrible, and this restaurant falls somewhere in between. The food was quite mediocre. The pork fried rice was tasteless, bland, and dry—just disappointing. I'm not sure how anyone can mess up fried rice; it’s essentially just rice, eggs, and some kind of meat or vegetables, but somehow they managed to do so. The honey chicken sauce was also quite plain and forgettable. The only standout dish was the General Tso's chicken; without it, I wouldn't have found anything else worth eating. My husband did enjoy the egg roll, saying it was crispy and flavorful (I didn't try it myself, so I can't comment). I didn't sample the sushi, which seems to have received good reviews, but personally, I wouldn't return to this restaurant or make a special trip to dine here again.

I've been coming here since it opened! No one can match their freshness! I love Sue and Allen (also known as New York), and I will always return, not just for the food but for Sue and Allen's exceptional customer service! The food is impeccable!
