Contribuiți la feedbackI always thought of Trader Joe's as a more upscale grocery store. When we first moved to the area, it was the closest food option, but we decided to only go there for specific items instead of making the longer trip to Stop & Shop or King Kullen. After a few surprisingly pricey grocery runs elsewhere, we decided to do a full shopping trip at Trader Joe's and discovered we spent a lot less! Their prices on tofu, tempeh, and almond milk, among other items, are the best I’ve found around here. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian products and a good selection of vegan alternatives as well. I’ve noticed that I’ve been eating healthier since I started shopping there, although many of the vegetarian options are not vegan. I wanted to move away from processed foods, and Trader Joe’s has really helped me with that! They even encourage you to bring your own bag by entering you into a drawing. The only real downside I’ve encountered is that they sometimes have long lines or are blocked by shoppers in the aisles, which can be quite frustrating.
Just for your information, Trader's provides a list of vegan products available for sale, which you can find at the information counter. They also have stalls in Oceanside and Merrick when they are in the South Nassau district.

Just a heads up, Trader's has a list of vegan products available for purchase. You can find it at the information counter. Additionally, they have locations in Oceanside and Merrick if you're in the southern Nassau area.
