Cucina 1884 - Hessle

Phenomenal! We visited this restaurant a few months ago for my birthday after another place we planned to go to turned out to be closed, despite their website saying they were open. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and they were absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was incredible—so delicious that I could have easily eaten twice! My only issue was that I might have overindulged because everything was so tempting. It’s a bit on the expensive side, so I wouldn’t eat here regularly, but I would definitely return, as it was worth every penny and more.

I had an excellent experience at the restaurant, thanks to the outstanding service and an exciting, meticulously curated menu. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the counter, where I could watch the chefs skillfully prepare their beautiful dishes. The grilled pears, kale and gorgonzola salad, and cannoli for dessert were especially delightful. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent service and a fantastic menu. It's also the perfect place to enjoy a glass of fizz and have a nice chat!
