We got a burger and chips to takeaway on a Sunday during lunch peek. Personally our experience was great despite previous reviews about this shop. We waited about half an hour for our food to be ready, but there was already at least 6 orders in front of ours judging from the customers waiting with tickets, so we sat and waited. Food was hot, chips were crunchy and the burgers were on point.

Lovely experience here. The lady that served me was nice and got my food out quickly even while serving customers. We had 2 whiting and chips, and that was by far the best food we've had on our week here.

The best fish shop we have tried so far, there scallops are the best in town Unfortunately there scallops haven't been good on our last couple of visits, it's expensive and long wait. I also don't like lemon added to my order, it should be separated. I forget to ask.

Here as a tourist, popped in Friday midday. Can recommend for a good value feed. Ordered the standard fish and chips, 3 small pieces of flathead battered with chips. Great value at $8! Was enough as a light lunch, but if you are super hungry, then get a few more things. Fish cooked perfectly, and with crispy batter. Great views to eat if you walk over the road. You might have to wait a little longer if you go during a busy period (my wait time was 15 minutes)
