Harvest At The Hershey

UPDATE: We returned to Harvest for our Christmas trip, hoping to relive our wonderful first experience. Unfortunately, our second visit did not meet our expectations. Kellie wasn't working, and the servers we had were subpar. The food was disappointing; our Christmas dinner, which included the Smokehouse for two, featured overcooked meat and dry ribs that needed barbecue sauce to be palatable. Thankfully, the Brussels sprouts and carrots were good. Our Christmas Day dinner was no better; the She Crab Soup, which we loved in October, was overly salty, and the scallops and pork belly were tough and flavorless. Overall, we were left feeling quite disappointed.

The location is ideal, just a short walk from our hotel. The food was excellent, service was impeccable—warm, friendly, efficient, and polite. If we ever return to Hershey, PA, we look forward to dining at Harvest again and will definitely ask for Kellie. I highly recommend this restaurant and Kellie. The food was disappointing; our Christmas evening dinner, which was supposed to be their smokehouse special for two, came out dry and was accompanied by tough ribs smothered in BBQ sauce to mask the dryness. Fortunately, the Brussels sprouts and carrots were good. Our Christmas day dinner was no better. The She Crab Soup, which we loved in October, was overly salty, while the scallops and pork belly were tough and lacked flavor. Overall, we were quite disappointed.

From start to finish, our experience at Harvest was exceptional. Our server, Ishmael, was excellent and very attentive to our needs. We ordered a variety of items: appetizers, soup, salad, drinks, dinner, coffee, and dessert, and everything was fantastic. The charcuterie board paired with the pretzel was a delightful addition. The parsnip soup was a pleasant surprise, and I had the parrot pasta dish with chicken. While I think it would have been even better without the chicken, it was still quite tasty. My husband ordered the cocoa ribs, and he found them delicious, although they weren’t baby-back ribs. Just a heads-up: if you're specifically looking for baby-back ribs, this dish doesn’t include them. Our cappuccino and chocolate cream cakes were heavenly, and we even took a piece home for my mom, who devoured it in no time. One thing to note is that the restaurant isn’t located at the main entrance of the hotel. If you drive directly to Harvest, you’ll need to head to the building behind the hotel, which we didn’t know but ended up being a pleasant walk. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Server was great and a beautiful atmosphere. It would be nice if they had a better beer selection. Also the ribs were really boiled. Deserts were great!!!

What a Great birthday lunch celebration. Lindsey, our server was excellent. The food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We will definitely return again.
