Contribuiți la feedbackThis was a delightful surprise... if you like German food, this is the closest I have gotten outside of Germany... The overall experience was really good, all the entrees delivered VS our expectations, and the ambience/ atmosphere/ service were good... definitely looking forward to my next visit!
The German who earlier reviewed this restaurant with a ONE star would be best served by bringing his own bratwurst to Mexico .... (just speaking "tongue in cheek") ..... I am a born German, but an American citizen and resident of Menlo Park (San Francisco peninsula) in California. I would be ashamed giving such a review to one of the many restaurants in Germany in which I had terrible and expensive meals.Shame on "Deutscher" .... bloeder Hund.Juergen
I knew that Puebla had a large German population, per the Volkswagen plant, so I was expecting this German Restaurant to be good. But after trying probably half a dozen German restaurants in the USA and finding them lackluster, I didn't expect anything special. Aguilar Negro knocked my socks off! The food is so good that, by itself, it would be worth the trip to Puebla (yes, it's THAT good). Great selection of meat dishes - but they also do veggies very well. And hefeweizen with which to wash it down. Nice atmosphere, and very friendly staff that seemed particular proud when the German in our party complimented the food. Only downside is that we would prefer the German music playing be Die Toten Hosen rather than the traditional folk music - but that's probably asking too much.
Go somewhere else. Staff forgeting your order. Takes forever for the food to arrive. Food served is not what was ordered. Don't come here.
German themed restaurant. Average food with german touch. Not bad if you think where you are, but overall more like a pull-in restaurant quality, solid, nothing fancy. Anyway, it was a nice experience. We liked very much the tiny provided Flädlesuppe. Nice and funny.
