El Vallarta Mexican Cantina - Hermitage

Higher level Mexican than most of the Mexican places around us. Nice outdoor seating if you're not near one of the speakers with music blaring. Good service.

Wait staff was very slow and forgetful. Food is over priced and not that great. Compadres is 100xs better!!

Nearly choked on a bone in a chicken quesadilla. I returned it to the server and explained. The manager came over and said the chicken we buy has bones in it. Really?? He offered me something else. I had a soft taco ??and they had the nerve to charge me for it. Definitely will not go back!!!!

This restaurant is ok. The man who greeted us was a grumpy-puss and when he was taking us to our table, there was no cue from him to even follow him. We had a great waitress though who even gave our young daughter free ice cream. The guacamole wasn't made fresh in front of us and the tortilla chips weren't made homemade but it tasted good. My husband got the tacos but he had to add a side of rice since it didn't come with one. They forgot our tomatillo salsa but brought it out after we asked for it. The chimichanga was delicious but I would've liked more cheese sauce on the dish. We enjoyed the flan and would recommend it if you come here.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area! We have both ordered food to go and ate inside. Service is great every time, the food is awesome and the margaritas are great. Queso dip is unbeatable! We will continue to be regular customers. Highly recommend!
