The Cattle Baron Grill Bistro

Just had a lovely dinner! The food was delicious, very big portions and every bite was enjoyable! Service was great and all the staff were friendly. Atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner night out.

The service is good, the venue is well arranged (though a bit chilly), the staff are knowledgeable, and the menu is consistently enticing. However, this time, the food—the Cattle Baron burger—did not meet my expectations. The patty was overcooked, and a small portion of chips wasn't nearly as satisfying as some of the best I’ve had. It was an underwhelming meal (which many locals I've spoken to agree with), but the service was fantastic.

The food was truly outstanding, and the prices are excellent. The service was fantastic—Raffaele was wonderful! I would definitely make this place a regular stop every time we visit Hermanus.

Oh my goodness!!! I couldn't find a single thing to criticize, and believe me, I really tried. I had an entire afternoon planned out, but now I just want to be a couch potato because I ate way too much!

We went to The Cattle Baron in Constantias Old Village. Service was 5 star, food was beautifully presented and my steak cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and professional. Ambience is upmarket, white linen and separate tables. Not booths. It was a most wonderful and pleasant experience. Will definitely go again, over and over again !
