The Vallet House (formerly Alpenhorn Gasthaus)

This restaurant is now under new management and it’s a lovely place. The host was incredibly attentive to every detail, making our experience enjoyable. We had a four-course meal with a choice of three main dishes. My wife chose the scallops, which she absolutely loved. I went with the KC Strip, and it was decent. Overall, a great dining experience!

The atmosphere is so cozy! The staff is incredibly friendly, and we appreciated that we could book a stay for just one night, unlike many places that require a two-night minimum. We were definitely not disappointed!

Although I didn't stay at the guesthouse, my partner and I had dinner at the Valley House, and it was the best meal we've ever had. David, the host, is incredibly attentive, passionate, and enthusiastic about creating a memorable experience for his guests. He truly goes above and beyond compared to any dining experience I've ever encountered! We will definitely be returning!

Such a great experience from start to finish! David could not have been a better host and chef. Relaxing 3 course meal, had such a natural home feel throughout. Very clean, very nostalgic, best coffee! Can’t wait to come back!Rooms: 5/5
