Hotel near restaurant in luzern, Switzerland seems to be a four- or five-star house. the ambiente is quite charming - reminds of past days. it is really a walk back to the time in the elegance and the loneliness of pastness europas. the restaurant founded in the 1500s belongs to a hotel. it lies opposite the magnificent Franciscan Church, which was built shortly after the death of St Francis of Assisi. the neighbour has in any case an ethereal air in which they listen. also the clasp has this beckoning quality. next to a religious monument there is a small stone square in the front. the caffe is down and that's where we eat. (We later discovered that in other parts of the hotel there are more beautiful dining areas that remind us of past days, but we had already chosen our seats in the caffe.) we came a little after five and were told to wait the kitchen open at six. we ordered an expensive bottle of mineral water while we waited. when the menu came, we chose pumpkin soup and salate. there were two of us. we were thrilled to get our pumpkin soup in an actual pumpkin bowl with the lid, which was cut over and placed in a broth bowl style. the suppe was creamy (vegan) with a hauch of pumpkin seeds and tasted delicious. my salat was quite common, but the salat of my friend came with speckfoam she found something too rich. the bill was about 60 Swiss francs. now, in the heart of this review: high end restaurant guilty of unhygienic practices. my friend loves to eat grasses and flower lamps and the like. I call them a fertile child. when she had eaten her suppe, she went on to scratch the top of her pumpkin with her spoon and fall the shaving into the suppe. I noticed a hired man who stared at her in a frightening manner. I mentioned her that she was observed and she informed me that she did not care about it and continued to scrape the pumpkin shave, and in her hot suppe - this time from the side and bottom of the pumpkin. when it came time to collect our dishes in preparation for the salads to come the waitress, watching my shred friend, says to stop them; add they can't do that we both asked them why? we were appalled by their answer. she informs us because we use it again! we were pretty embarrassed and left a very big tip and left the place quickly after using the toilet in the upper floor. we should have called the health officer. I expect the start of a local virus to appear in my system soon. I am furious and still unbelieving that such a thing could happen in the expensive, untouched Swiss. What would you have done if that happened to you, dear reader? please feel free to post their actions. I don't want to visit once more lucern, nor do I ever want to eat in the hotel glazed restaurant. the bad experience outlined above is something that has been etched in my brain inexorably!
We had a fabulous 40 th surprise party in this hotel and restaurant. gabrial and daniel took so many tensions in organizing such an event. they were born to do this job! from the apero to the next morning., the whole experience was first class. the restaurant side of the company was too rightly awarded with kudos as eating was amazing. the hotel side also deserves a mention, as the rooms are beautifully designed and quirkily individual on a very stylish way. all employees are on board with the culture to ensure that the hospitable has a wonderful experience. Many thanks for helping to make this occasion so unforgettable for us.
The best Cordon Bleu far and wide, a definite recommendation! The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired! It's also very dog-friendly and has a great offer for children too! Great restaurant!! come back
