Make sure to check prices before paying as they differ from the menu, receipt, and online. The floors were very greasy and the ladies' toilet flush was broken. Despite these issues, we still had a pleasant evening and left full and reasonably happy.
Ordered a takeaway from here last night and it was really good. The quality quantity and taste was superb, will definitely become a favourite for us.
Great old pub, very friendly staff. Indian restaurant very clean, with excellent food and very friendly staff. The restaurant was very busy as Saturday night and not all had booked. Pointed out as soon as we sat down that there would be a wait between courses but we were in no hurry and the food was worth waiting for. Try the Captain Jamal highly recommend by my partner.
Excellent food, very clean restaurant located in a private room with about 7 tables attached to the side of the bar area, making it very cosy and intimate. Reasonable prices. Service excellent and waitress friendly.
On a course nearby and this was the closest restaurant. What a delight to find not only an Indian restaurant in a village pub but one that did very good food. My colleagues and myself regularly eat in Indian restaurants and the Pathia in the Crown was on par with some of the best I've had. Service was excellent and it also has the benefit of some very good local beers being available from the pub bar.
