Contribuiți la feedbackI went to this restaurant for a pint in the afternoon and found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. I came back in the evening for some food that was excellent and served in generous portions. They had a great selection of beer and the overall atmosphere of the pub was fantastic. I would definitely return again if I find myself in Ross.
We had an incredible Sunday dinner yesterday at The Man of Ross. We highly recommend paying them a visit. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Our roast was delicious, with generous portions of vegetables and perfectly cooked meat. Despite being full, we couldn't resist trying a pudding. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful meal! Happy customers.
Well-portioned, unpretentious, tasty Sunday dinner served in a real pub, just what I also looked forward after a good long trip. the personal was from the moment we were there and were attentive during our visit. if I hadn't eaten completely. I could've tried so much from a pudding. next time!
I rarely give or star reviews, but unfortunately our experience in the man of ross inn has guaranteed it. we decided to stop for a drink, and possibly lunch, on Thursday jan after a day at the locations in Ross-On-Wye. it was. a surprisingly sunny day for januar, so we sat outside (beside another table with people also choose to sit outside.) the location is beautiful, and the pub looks very nice against a beautiful scenery. the problems came when we went into the bar to order. the reason for the star review? the service. the woman who served us was extremely rude and continued to complain how busy she was before we served, although the place was less than half full. we asked for food, but you said it will be a long wait mins) in a ton that she was surprised that we even ask. we were ready to wait, but she made clear that a food order was not greeted with her ton and she returned after the question. we ordered four drinks, of which I specifically asked for a coke zero (which was told to me came only bottles with which I was good and reacted as such.) I received a pepsi max that you would normally ask is pepsi ok, but at this time I was not. I suggested it wasn't coke zero, but was ignored. the last insult came when we were going to switch on the outside heaters that are next to any table outside, but we were caught saying they need to be plugged in I suggested I can do it if they could tell me what I had to do, but was said no, I will get it when I get it. we were so disappointed when we had a nice day in Ross-on-Wye and experienced that he was mad. when the administration of man of ross inn read this, they really need to get their employees on some customer service training. it is never the customers who are busy, and should always be treated with respect, at least if they think they are busy at a Thursday lunch time in the januar, then they will come to some really important questions in the summer.
Booked a table and just as well. Had delicious specials from the board. Large portions with fresh veg. Local ales. Staff friendly and attentive.
