Excellent food, outstanding service friendly locals. We’d been out walking which gave need of a hearty lunch a warm fire. That’s exactly what we got we didn’t want to leave! Ross who served us was the perfect host. It’s one of the best places I’ve been to in a long while.

The Sunday Roast Beef is excellent, with the best Yorkshire puddings I've had in a long time! The Malbec was served at the perfect temperature, the service was excellent, and the cider was fabulous!

A very welcoming atmosphere. Lovely waitress, very polite helpful. A nice selection of pub food good quality.. Very reasonable prices. Although a traditional village pub, we were made to feel very welcome and were able to book our table quickly easily beforehand. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a quick supper with friends .. we chose the cod with leaks and a wonderful sauce .. it was fantastic, fresh and fragrant.

Dropped in as we had to be in the area Lovely warm bar with great selection to choose from, My wife then had the chicken wings whilst I went Chicken Tikka both full of flavour. We then chose a chicken curry and a crispy beef again beautifully cooked and piping hot. We both commented that it had been the best pub grub we had had for sometime and that its a pity we didnt live closer.
