Contribuiți la feedback(A lunch with four people for 63.90 Euro A refreshed Christmas dinner today led us to the Kaisergarten, a somewhat remote Mongolian Chinese restaurant between Herborn and Hörbach, where we would never have found without instructions and local experts. The more amazing that already at our early arrival (11:45 many cars were in front of the restaurant. Parking should be thought, are available in sufficient number. Nevertheless, I had problems parking later, as I was parked in the second row of parkers. This already shows what masses the Kaisergarten is filled with after we arrived there. The building itself does not look particularly welcoming, but like a warehouse in the industrial sector. We were welcomed very kindly and on request when we had reserved a table (we agreed a table). It was still relatively empty and the selection was large. Impressive was the huge, slightly gloomy hall, with unpleasant wooden chairs, but they had a good padding. The table for 4 people is a little small, but beautifully covered (the porcelain cutlery bench is kneaded. We chose a la carte. Hard down, one of the flashes and also very friendly service appeared at the table. Drinks were served very quickly and while we studied the menu, the restaurant fills up remarkably. It was also becoming more and more restless, as the already mentioned crowds usually stormed into the buffet. The buffet, divided into one side with finished dishes, the other side with raw fish, seafood, meat and vegetables. Here it is possible to mount its plate itself, mark it with a table-numbered wash clip and leave it at the "Wok Koch" where everything is freshly prepared and then brought to the table. Both sides of the buffet looked very appealing and my parents made it excellent. For a la carte meal. As an appetizer I chose chicken meat spear with peanut sauce (3,90€ ), my wife Mini spring rolls (2,60€ , 4 pieces per card, on the plate were five. The spits are tastefully excellent and the portion size is well dimensioned. However, both appetizers do not claim creativity (as well as?) but placed on the plate without love. 5 mini spring rolls give nothing, so there is no photo of it. My main dish was called CHAP KAM SHI CHIU (11.30€ , " cows, chickens and pork with paprika, mushrooms and bamboo in black bean sauce (share with garlic “). She was picked up before I enjoyed my last appetizers, and she took off as a serving for 2 people. I know now that black beans are not my case, reminds of boiled harbour wine, but it tasted very well everywhere and was fresh and appealing. The “fish fillet with vegetables” (9,00 €) presented itself as a double serving, was tastefully excellent, perhaps with some panade. We didn't even need to ask how of course the table service explained that we would pack the rest for the retreat. The pipe around us was now beehort-like, and in all, the service staff kept the flashing and friendly overview. Respect. Unfortunately, the famous welfare factor was not unfolded. I don't know how it is on other days of the week, but I know that buffet has it every day. Personally something too full, too restless, too uncomfortable. A place behind partitions or in a niche offers this, but not this open hall. There were also several rooms (at least 2 and a hall with 2 bowling alleys that were well used. An experience. I can only recommend everyone to make a picture of it. Check out the internet presence (language card! If you want good, but little sophisticated, delicious food in large portions at a small price, find what he is looking for.
