Stella Restaurant - Henley Beach

I called up to make a reservation and the man on the other end did not even want to take my call at all, extremely rude and asked me to call later when they were not busy' even though I was going to be giving him business.???.. Forget it, this place has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will be sure all of my family and friends who were keen to try it never visit either. Tragic that they have disappointed me without even getting me in the door first!

Located in Henley Square, this restaurant has great views of Henley Beach. A group of this decided to come here for breakfast. The service was not bad but clearly they were very busy so were slightly slow during periods of time we were there We had a variety of breakfast items including Eggs Benedict, Mushroom Bruschetta, and Big Breakfast. The food was good in parts such as the bread used and the haloumi. The egg components were nice. Other parts such as the ham, mushrooms, spinach, hash browns were not up to scratch in quality and were very average. Stunning winter afternoon on a Saturday and enticed the wife and teens outside. Sun was glorious and the outside decor at Stella is all about the sun, sky and sea! What a setting ... Wife and I grabbed a coffee flat white for me which came in nice time. Could've been a tad warmer but nice depth and flavour. Outside tables are decorated colourfully see photo that add to the Mediterranean charm.

Dinner here while we were holidaying at Henley beach. Felt like having Italian I had the prawn risotto but it was not to my liking. It was not cooked well and very grainy. My friend had the marinara which was not bad. Nothing stand out. A bit too pricey for your standard meals. Good service though.

Great place and the renovations are just perfect. Love the bright and summery colours. Only down is the small vegetarian options but other then that it was great
