Mezzaluna - Hendersonville

I am disappointed to say that the food and service at this restaurant were subpar. I was truly surprised by how bland the spaghetti and meatballs were - I had to add salt three times and four cheese containers just to give it some flavor. The lasagna was also disappointing; it was nothing but a pile of mush. Considering the price of $19, it was quite embarrassing. The kitchen definitely needs some changes.

My spouse and I had dinner at Mezzaluna last Saturday night and we were blown away by the food. I ordered the chicken marsala and my spouse had the pork tenderloin. Both dishes were incredibly tender, with the most delicious sauces we've ever tasted (excluding Hendersonville and NC, where we're new to). The chicken and pork practically melted in our mouths. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived promptly and our waitress was outstanding - very friendly and attentive. My spouse couldn't stop raving about the tiramisu, saying it was the best they've ever had!

First time at Mezzaluna. Place is welcoming and food is great! We had local trout and wild salmon as main dishes. Photo shows salmon with grilled tomato and spinach risotto.

A great find in town! The fig pancetta pizza is a must! Service was prompt and Cory. Plenty of seating indoors. Parking on street for a fee.

Overall we had a great experience. Wasn't blown away by it, but definitely a great place to eat. Food was excellent and service was great too!
