Whist, Stove & Spirits - Henderson

Had my birthday meeting here for entertainment and cocktails and it was great! it has a large vibe and terrace room outside for larger groups not only small tables. Live music is always great! They are here many times and will be back!

My wife and I were looking for a place off the Vegas strip to enjoy breakfast/brunch, so we checked opentable and thought Whist, Stove Spirits would be a great place to try based on the wide variety of menu items that caught our attention (White Chocolate Walnut French Toast, Chorizo Frittata, Crabby in the Morning, Duck Hash and Eggs). As a result, we booked a table for 8:00am in the morning. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, it appears as though the restaurant was not actually serving any food until 1000 or 1100 AM. The bartender apologized for the inconvenience and stated there had been a management change, couldn’t believe opentable allowed the reservation, but checked the kitchen to see if food could be made; he stated only the late night menu was available because the chefs were not in yet. The bartender apologized again before we left. If we are ever in Las Vegas again, we will definitely call ahead to see if they are open because we really wanted to try numerous items from their menu.

Paul our server was fantastic! Very helpful, very nice, and just a fantastic server all around. The restaurant will be closing in 2 months though so the food was not the quality of the price. The Caesar salads cheese was old and bland. The petite filet I got was undercooked. My guests dinner with chicken Parmesan the noodles were over cooked and hard. The cocktail titled refresh was horrible in all areas. Since the restaurant is going out of business in two months there wine selection, alcohol, and food were on the low end. The customer service is the best, hope they keep Paul for the new restaurant!

Brunch menu reduced, favorites missing. **** Mary bar had nothing but tomato juice, no fixings l, they said they ran out, no ice. Very disappointed we had friends from out of town.
