Sonoma Cellar - Henderson

I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but when a restaurant specializes in $60 steaks, they should know how to cook them properly. I ordered my steak medium rare, but it came out medium instead. I waited 8 minutes without anyone checking on me, and since I didn't want to wait any longer, I ended up eating half of my steak (that was my decision). When the server finally asked how my meal was, I politely explained the issue. She admitted it was the second complaint about the steaks that night and acknowledged that they should be performing better for a steakhouse. I still gave her a 20% tip (since it wasn't her fault she didn't cook it), but I won't be returning.

My fillet , steakhouse salad, mushrooms were outstanding!!! Steak cooked perfect! This is my favorite place to eat anything!!! My compliments to the chef and whole crew! I wish I could afford to eat there every day....i would!

I can’t really review the food since all we had was bread and water. 1 hour and 38 minutes that’s the time that passed from the time our order was taken and when our server checked in us for the first time. Still no food. Our server never asked if we wanted or needed anything over an hour and a half. I can very much tell you what what’s going on, our server didn’t care to attend a younger looking couple since she probably thought we couldn’t financially give her a gratuity. Well was she right, I would never tip for what it was an horrendous and careless service. Again was very much looking forward to try that crab cake special but unfortunately we couldn’t.

This was a wonderful evening out. It was my husbands birthday and we enjoyed steak dinners with mash potatoes, Mac cheese. He got the rib eye which he said was amazing and I got the New York strip apart of their restaurant week promo. It has to be one of the best New York strips I've ever had. Along with it was shrimp and broccolini, and cannot forget the steakhouse salad, which we both enjoyed. The crème brûlée at the end was outstanding. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. With a glass of Moscato and hubby enjoyed his old fashion drinks. Juan Brian both waited on us and both were very friendly, courteous, and honest about the menu. We definitely will be going back. It was a very good experience for both of us. Thoroughly enjoyed. 

We had an amazing time; our server Christina was very helpful, funny... just awesome. We invited my sister brother in law to join us; we all did the “Date Night Menu” three of us had the Salmon the other had NY Steak... all very tender delicious. When it came to Desert, three of us had crème brûlée and the other had ice cream with the hard shell again everything was delicious. The Date Night Menu is great; It's a three course meal for $110 for a couple it includes a bottle of wine your choice of white or red. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
