Chavelos Mexican Grill - Henderson

Finding authentic Mexican food in Henderson can be challenging, but my family and I absolutely love this place! We make it a point to visit at least once a week. The service is fantastic every time, the food is consistently excellent, and the restaurant is always clean. One memorable occasion, we even bumped into the YouTube couple Sofia and Derek Deso while dining here!

The food here is amazing! The chips are crisp, crunchy, and free from grease. The salsa is the best we've tried. The server and manager are both friendly and welcoming. We ordered the surf and turf, steak tacos, shrimp burrito, quesadillas, and fajitas, and everything was delicious. We have no complaints at all. The portions are generous and definitely worth the price. Their tequilas are exceptional, especially the pineapple and strawberry infused ones. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Must try for sure! From the moment I stepped in it was exceptional service! The chips and salsa were very fresh and delicious. Drinks were at the table in no time. The server was pleasant and had answers and suggestions. The food was delicious. If you are in the area ir even if you are not, definitely a must try!

During my holiday visiting family, I couldn't have asked for a better restaurant to round off my trip. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. As I'm still learning Spanish, I enjoyed expressing my thanks to the server in Spanish, and they complimented my skills, which felt wonderful! The food was delicious and surprisingly affordable. I opted for the create-your-own three-item deal, which included a taco, a tostada, and a frijolita, all of which were very tasty. However, I would recommend trying a variety of meats for an even better experience!
