516 Nightclub - Hempstead

I love the atmosphere there. The place is set up nicely and some great music. I went there with a few friends and we all had a good time.

The music was bad and outdated. Also, people kept threatening to kill me randomly out of nowhere. Not many rational people at this club. Steer clear.

I absolutely loved this club. It was my first time and it was just amazing. I recommend this club to anyone who wants to have a good time surrounded by a welcoming crowd in a nicely spaced club. The booze are cheap too, and I don't mean quality!

Look, this is one of those places where you're just going to dance. There are drinks, hookah, beer buckets etc. for exemptions but temperates your expectations. Starting with the entry, you can expect a full pat below. Gentleman, not even looking for guest lists to this place. You pay all $20.oo cover. It looks like they let pretty ladies in. When you enter, you will be absolutely crushed by the loudness of the sound system. It is essentially too loud to talk there, but again, you come to dance to this place, not to talk. You can get bottle service with chic sparkles or you can get basic beer buckets. Hookah is also available. This will be brought to you by a young woman who was 21 years old yesterday. Now that you have a few drinks in you, prepare for a pretty good Musica Urbana Set. You will usually hear Reggaeton, Dembow a small late model Hip Hop and rarely some dancehall tunes. I was hoping to hear some salsa on my last visit, but was disappointed, mostly to hear Bachata's serious incidents. As far as the crowd is concerned, it will be young, really young (too young? . Hah! What dress code? Make yourself comfortable in the Air Force Ones, Crocs, Flip Flops and Huaraches. It's like the Bronx has taken a party bus to Long Island. By the way, I'm at 6'4. I'm pretty sure I was the highest person in it (just a random observation). Bottom line: You just go to Area 516 to dance to Musica Urbana/Latin Heavy Beats. Dress up comfortably in something you're not sweating in. Get a quick drink and then sexy dancing!

The place got shot up and no one stopped twerking... also at least 50% of the girls had braces. Drinks were good though.
