Alfresco - Hemel Hempstead

The restaurant has a great variety of shops and is easy to navigate. There's a spacious parking area, but it tends to get crowded, especially on weekends.

Marlows Shopping Center may have its share of empty units and discount stores mixed in with a few upscale shops, but it certainly deserves a solid 5-star rating. That's because it's home to the Electric Umbrella, an outstanding music business that truly stands out. This fantastic charitable organization focuses on the renovation and sale of donated musical instruments. With very reasonable prices on guitars and more, shoppers are bound to find something unique and wonderful, as the inventory is constantly changing. Just last week, they had a harp and a sitar proudly displayed in the window. All proceeds go toward supporting programs for young people with special needs, as well as providing live music experiences and incredible work both in-person and via Zoom.

It's not a bad place to shop, but there are some aspects of the entertainment that make me take away a star. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the city.

The Marlowes is an inside and outside shopping centre it has a few top brand retailers. It's fully pedestrianised and has some nice sculptures and water features

Lots of shops to go around, and lots of closed ones too... Good place to go spend some time...
