Roihuvuoren Rio - Helsinki

Especially nice during early summer (when there aren't so many wobbly bees) when the big terrace is open. Also nice and cosy during winter. They have several vegan options from toasts to buns and pancakes everything I've tried has been really tasty. The staff is really friendly and genuine. Updated from previous review on 2023 11 21

Rio has an amazing atmosphere and the food has always been really tasty. There’s plenty of vegetarian options and some vegan too. It’s worth of visiting Roihuvuori area just to hang out in Rio.

Excellent hidden gemstone. especially in summer. large cozy terrace, small but also cozy interiors, homemade kitchen, excellent coffee, high quality sweet bakery, very dog friendly (they get tasty), personal is friendly, lunch is affordable and eat until they are full. a good choice of beer, seems as if vegetarian foods often recommend their choice. kirschenbaumgarten and other beautiful natural areas near.

What a great caffeine! fantastic lunch, coffee, ice cream and other snacks. especially the mood here is fantastic, family friendly and great indie music concerts. a jewel of a living room!
