Paulig Kulma - Helsinki

In the end, I was pleasantly surprised when I received a raw cake as a replacement for the sold-out smokeporo soup during the lunch special. The salad bar was well stocked with a variety of salad options and the menu accurately described the contents of each dish. The kitchen seemed to be understaffed, resulting in a longer wait time for my meal. Fortunately, the delicious cake was a satisfying substitute and the absence of the soup was quickly forgotten.

The brunch at this restaurant is fantastic, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The only downside is that it can get a bit dirty (hence the little minus), but overall it is definitely worth a visit!

This restaurant is a fun spot. We enjoyed sitting upstairs and admiring the copper-colored decor. The coffee was delicious.

We know that Finnish people love coffee and it is an integral part of their daily life. Because of that, there are so many cafes around Helsinki with different concepts and qualities. Paulig Kulma is one of them, located at the heart of the city, and owned by the famous Finnish food chain/coffee producer Paulig. This is not a cafe trying to attract people by its unique atmosphere but it has good coffee quality, a variety of options, and a cozy atmosphere. You can take your coffee, go upstairs have a seat, and work for hours without getting distracted apart from the music. You won't miss anything if you don't visit here but you will surely have a great time either solo or with others when you visit.
