El Fant - Helsinki

One of the best oat milk mochas I’ve ever had. Also had vegan chocolate cake and vegan apple tart which were delicious. Super cute and affordable.

The foremost issue is that the place which is in the building of the Helsinki city museum, in Finland, and there is not one Finnish speaking server. The servers refuse to understand Finnish (and presumably Swedish , as they are Chinese women. I made a reclamation about slow service; the hot drink being lukewarm; about the server not able to open a bottle of wine (in a wine bar? ; a server handing me a tattered paper to check the price of the wine when she did not know the price; about charging the wine at a lower price, and then coming to the table to claim more money for it; I asked who owns the business and I was given a name of a person in China! The servers do not wear face masks, and the place gets very crowded. Never again.

This quite small coffee wine bar is located at Helsinki City Museum. We had glasses of white wine while visiting the museum. The wine was served in stylish glasses. The service was friendly.

Especially the three breakfast menu options are absolutely worth the price. Unfortunately the service was quite slow.

Had a poke bowl with smoked salmon for lunch which was extremely tasty. As it was during the Lux Festival they had a special offer of 10€ including a miso soup starter and coffee or tea. The place is very nice too.
