Bannockburn Inn - Helmsdale

Last week, we spent a night at the Bannockburn Inn while traveling from Oban to Thurso, and we had a delightful experience! Alison is truly a gem and made us feel right at home. Scott at the bar was also very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and breakfast, and our room was quite comfortable. I slept like a rock! It's a simple place, but we would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful four-day stay in Helmsdale in 2012, spending every evening enjoying drinks, meals, and singing with Gerry and Alison. They are both exceptional hosts, and I highly recommend visiting for a taste of true Scottish hospitality.

Great weekend at Helmsdale and love the pub and restaurant very friendly will definitely be back
