Cafe At Kilcreggan - Helensburgh

The Creggans is a welcoming and cozy neighborhood pub located in the stunning town of Kilcreggan, not Helensburgh as its address may suggest. The owners, management, and staff are top-notch, and have a strong sense of community. While the food menu is limited to pizza and nachos, the drink selection and service are both outstanding.

This was my first time at The Creggans, and it definitely won't be my last. We were greeted warmly by the staff, fellow patrons, and two retired greyhounds lounging on the floor. They stood up to welcome us and then settled back down. The bar and restrooms were spotlessly clean as well.

I had a wonderful experience returning to this first-class restaurant after many years. The service was attentive and caring, and the coffee was fantastic. The desserts were delicious, and the restaurant had good barrier-free access with plenty of covered seating outdoors. The menu had a good selection, including traditional ice cream options like knickerbocker glory and banana split. The beautiful view of the Clyde River added to the overall charm of the restaurant. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

Excellent service, great food and generous portions! this small family business has everything they can ask from a beautiful caffe. I will be back for one!
