Ordered steak medium, no mushrooms. Came out covered in mushrooms and rare, so rare it was still bleeding. Waiter took it back and came back still rare to med. rare. Husband ordered his steak medium rare, got almost raw halfway through. Lobster was delicious. Steak would have been great if cooked properly. Cheesecake was very good. On the plus side, they did not charge us for the steak. Overall, I would give it a C for food, but A for Waiter. Nice establishment, fair ambiance with decent service but very dissapointed with the quality of food for such high prices. My wife and I had salmon (almost $40 per plate) which was cooked decently (nothing special with flavor) and it did not come with any salad or a separate side of veggies. Each these would have been an add on charge if we wanted them. It was also very small portion for such a high price tag. We were there to celebrate a bday and our friends who had brought a cake only to find to eat it there they would need to pay $2 dollars per person as a cake cutting fee. There were 7 of us so $14 just to be allowed to eat the cake. Also if you decide to come as a group be aware they take a deposit of $20 per person in the event the reservation is canceled less than 24 hrs in advance. This money is refunded if you show for the reservation or applied to your bill. We understand this is fine dining but expect the quality and portions to be commensurate with the high price tag.
