This is a fantastic spot for enjoying some wine, whether you're with friends or just on your own. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It felt like everyone was having a wonderful time. Pricing is reasonable at $10–20 per person. Overall, I’d rate the service a 5 and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

Wow! A friend took me to this restaurant while I was visiting from out of town, and my experience has me seriously thinking about relocating to Helena! Grace really understood my picky wine preferences and helped us choose the perfect bottle to take home for dinner (don't tell my friends I didn't pick it out myself, haha!). We also ordered a cheese board and Nutella pudding based on her recommendation, and it was fantastic. I absolutely love the Hawthorne. I can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our time here as well as the broad list of wine options. The bowl of various olives was a nice addition to our tastings! Server was nice but a bit slow.
