Gasthaus Burg Heimfels - Heinfels

Typical Tyrolean stube. Great atmosphere , owners and waiters incredibly kind and nice. Located just under the castle of Sillian the decor inside is amazing , in particular the stoves. The food is just what you would expect to find in a place like this.....game, great meat and local dishes really well made. Wine list is fine. Some good Austrian wines to try. Highly recommended.

Visited here for an evening meal. Starters were great, cooked well and very tasty. Main courses were ok, but the beef I had was quite tough. Overall I had high hopes, and while the food was good, it didn't meet the initial expectation, unfortunately.

We had dinner here twice, during our stay in the area. We loved the place and the food. It seems like to go back in time. Lots of tasty dishes and good options also for the kids. Be aware that they do not accept credit...cards

Grande cordialità grande cucina; qualche difficoltà con l'italiano ( il menù però é anche in italiano) per cui scherzando ho mangiato e bevuto quello che avrebbe mangiato e bevuto il gentilissimo cameriere (forse della famiglia proprietaria): zuppa d'aglio come mai mangiata prima; grigliata mista guarnita di prima classe; mirtilli con gelato freschissimiPrezzo coerente

Ambiente che si distingue dagli altri, accogliente e familiare nella sua particolarità, ristorante con cucina tipica locale, tutto molto buono, servizio egregio.
