Oh hell yes. WhT a great meal. Near perfection. Authentic German-the menu is hand written German. The building is older than the United States by centuries....

Great meal. First night in Heidelberg and this cozy place did not disappoint. Our group had schnitzel, sauerbraten, and the pork loins with mushroom sauce....

The food is just in order, but the service is bad. the personal first serves the local and ignored tourist. we waited 1 hour for our food and the people who came after us were served before us.

We have eaten here too night while we stayed in a nearby hotel. I really liked it. the menu was varied, I chose a tomato soup and some pork as the main course. both were excellent. tomatensuppen are often a bit boring, but that was excellent. the pork was very tender and good, a typical German court of my opinion. I was hoping to sit outside, but there was a storm, so I was inside what was in order.
