Taj Mahal Tandoori - Heidelberg

This restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants in which I have ever been, they will enjoy the magic of Indian cuisine and spicy. great atmosphere and very professional and friendly staff, I really recommend it.

We were here for dinner in a group of 18-20 with previous booking. the hotel is contaminated with booking and had no space for us at 8 o'clock. we had to wait 10-15 minutes before he arranged two tables for our group, but we had to sit separate. that was okay. the service was pretty slow.

Excellent eating. grappa too. again the taj became after he had been away from heidelberg for several years. was as good as I remember fremany years ago.

Tasty and tasty eating with a menu and a selection of Indian desserts. the food was tenderly seasoned, not as hot as they get in the rule in the British Indian cuisine, so if they recommend to visit from there that they were a somewhat hotter dish than...normal the Indian deserts were really good. we had to wait a while before we could order, but otherwise the service was in order. very beautiful decor...more elevated than the average Indian

I am torn about this review because the food and service were very good for the dishes served, but not enough to justify their crazy prices for a main course which started at 18 euros but most went to 27 euros. There are too many...other good Indian places to eat in Heidelberg to pay twice the price of your competition.
