Contribuiți la feedbackI and my husband were there a few days ago. he wanted to try the blackshaxe and I was joking. this restaurant had everything we wanted at an affordable price. the only problem we had was cooking pork, it was too well done, so it was too dry! a part of it, the restaurant was really nice, the staff was also very welcoming!
Great food. friendly service. happy again! really enjoyed the pfifferlings pan. beautiful quiet side street and the back of the restaurant.
The main road in heidelberg is full of tourist locals. choose this based on ta after they found out that the carving bench was booked out. nice staff, large restaurant, typical German kitchen. very good beer, huge pork and ok carving. cheap, good home cooking. I don't think they find much better in heidelberg unless they pay much more money. 50 for 2, only main dishes and beer.
Our travel company has amazed us, a total of 120, in this restaurant, that this place can cope with so many hungry people at the same time. multashin was freshly prepared and very tasty. they are dry sorts. the house red wine was fruity, but rather soft, so much that I had two glasses. do not remember much about the service, no complaining; they were probably seriously concerned with serving as many tables.
We eat here too afternoon after we visited the heidelberger castle during our day trip from our vantage river cruise. the beer was cold and we were served Swabian maul bags with swirl melt and salat. originally, the maul pockets should have been invented so that the swallows can eat meat even during the fasting period by hiding it under the nude shell and in the middle of the spinach filling from the eyes of the pfarrer. as dessert there were maril steering dumplings with vanilla sauce. they have done great work by serving many people at the same time.
