Kilimanjaro - Heidelberg

Eating is different. I wouldn't say good. they serve essentially different types of coverings on a large pancake and have a many number of fruity beers. certainly an experience that is worth trying out once. the service is really not so great: so smile or attention, only effective. the place is usually full, so I assume that other people evaluate eating better than I, and it does not require that they try to be friendly.

It was the first time we had eaten East African, so we ordered the tasting at the chef so we could taste many different things. it was unbelievable, very well seasoned with a great selection of meat and vegetables. (have also vegetarian and vegan available) the service was perfect, they were even very nice to our tired 2-year-old. should try the beer from ghana, delicious we found!

The food and the service were both incredible! I was there for a birthday dinner of a friend and we ordered the largest plate on their menu, which contained both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, along with the brot (ingera), which was shared by us 4. the crowd looked a lot at the beginning when the food arrived, but we managed to finish everything with a little effort. Finally, I would say that the eating portion was great for the price. the food was very well seasoned and also delicious, although some of the dishes were a bit sharp, so it is better to tell them when ordering that they should not make it sharp. we also tried the tiramisu to dessert and it was absolutely delicious! we also tried some of the drinks (especially the dishes), they were good, but I found them a little expensive. all in all we had a great time. her hospitality is really remarkable.

In 2011, we were the first time in the kilimanjaro, and we liked it so well that it was necessary for us to visit it locally at any heathberg stop. We wanted to do this again this year and so we used to make a table reservation. the chefin was before place and accepted our desires. table reservation no problem, how many people are you?4 adult and 2 children. waass? kinder? and then also 2? do they believe me,we have nothing against children, but more others don't want to have here.The reservation has taken them despite this, but the next day we decided not to miss us or the child-feeling guests the evening. something has never happened to us in these not very child-friendly land. the kilimanjaro does so with how beautiful it is to feed with the whole family. in Africa the children do not belong to it?Well, they do not see us again in this local, even if we should come to heidelberg.

Who likes something special and African restaurants are not at all corners, he should go to kilimanjaro. the small restaurant in a side street between teasing and main street is recommended for a reservation. the service was very courteous and attentive. that was great. you can eat with the fingering as it would be authentic, but of course you get also cute. it tasted excellent. unusual spicy and yet all well tolerated. also for vegetarians. to it a drachenferbier from the calabasse, just beautiful.
