Franz Soupmarine - Heidelberg

Super sweet restaurant. There is a selection of about 5 different suppencies every day. all vegan or vegetarian, with toppings to make up for it. the small suppe costs 4.50€ the dinners are also already prepared so that they get their bowl immediately. restaurant also very sweet furnished with some tables on the open air.

We had beautiful vegan zimtschnecjen and carrot cake in caffe belong to franz soupmarine. we also liked the flatwhite very much. very nice place and friendly people!

There was a selection of 3 vegan suppen, although I believe that occasionally this caffe also serves vegetarian suppe. a large part, very tasty and served with fresh bread. there is a selection of seeds and crumbs that can be used for the toppings.

When I came here yesterday, all of the soups were vegan and the flavors sounded all really delicious! I took a medium sized bowl of Oriental Lentil Soup for 5€ which was not only extremely delicious and well seasoned but also super rich and filling. You get flatbread on the side for free and can also choose from different free toppings. Also, the staff was super nice and the place is super cozy, especially for when it’s cold and rainy outside! :

I was so impressed by how many vegan options there were and how staff were happy to adapt lots of the vegetarian dishes to make them vegan. In the end I went for the hummus and sun-dried tomato bagel and my fiancé went for the avo toast, both were delcious and not over-facing in terms of portion size. The cherry on the cake was the fact they had oat milk.
