The Flames Heatherbrae

The restaurant was closed when I arrived. It appears that they don't serve lunch. The hours listed on the map were incorrect, indicating that it was open. I was quite disappointed.

Hidden Gem! We stopped for an early dinner while charging our car at the nearby supercharger, and we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The menu is simple pub-style, but the service was prompt and friendly. The food was excellently prepared and reasonably priced. We didn't have high expectations from a highway motel restaurant, but this place exceeded all our expectations. We'll definitely eat here again the next time we're passing through!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sir Francis Drake Motel, and the food at Flames was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we will definitely return here.

This was a surprise for us. Hotel is reasonably cheap so wasn't expecting anything flash from the Flame. Talk about a hidden gem. The food was on point. Great flavour and serves were good size and tasty. We couldn't eat everything, should give you and idea. Both Asian and Australian cuisine. The restaurant was quirky and pleasant. If you are driving through an looking for a decent feed then recommend this little rose amongst the thorns.

Food great, atmosphere great,amazing trees growing inside the restaurant covered in fairy lights ,Sean the waiter was excellent, he was over everything food,wine he did it all.I'm looking forward to our next visit
