I lived in Japan when I was 18. This place felt like one of the places I used to visit. Intimate and delicious.

Went out with a group of friends, that included a couple who are frequent diners at this spot and one who swore she didn’t like sushi. We ate omakase. By the end of the night our non sushi eating friend was hooked. We had so much fun eating as well as watching the artist at work.

This was such a great discovery! We wandered in on a Thursday night and were able to secure a spot at the bar. From there we got quite a show, watching the chef/owner create a plethora of unique creations. Everything was delicious. There are a large number of vegan options as well as all kinds of lovely traditional and over-the-top sushi options. Truly works of art! I recommend making a reservation sitting at the bar so that you can watch the creation!
