The salmon starter for lunch was good, but the black pudding was excellent: balanced, rich flavors and textures, all very cleverly presented. The vegetables with the nets were particularly well thought out and executed the venison and ox cheek superb, delicate with a real depth of taste. The main cod was bright and the warm vegetarian option of beet with green and a goat cheese mousse with roasted almonds was a special pleasure. Very good chocolate cake with stuffed pears, ice cream on a crumb. This was a great combination of aromas and textures, although my preference would have been for more of a goose than a mousse consistency. There is so much attention to detail in every element of meal, up to the type of pastries chosen for the case of chocolate cake. Excellent for a special occasion. If you are on a budget, go for lunch instead of dinner, as it is (very right) expensive.
The staff was very friendly and friendly. Each course had three choices, unfortunately all not suitable if you are lactose intolerant. Our side order of Courgettes was more like a ratatouille. Two courses, one bottle of water and three glasses of champagne £200. Not the cheapest places, but would still be back.
Beautiful treats for my mother's day airy rooms with patio doors open for garden and view over south-downs. Food was excellent and service very attentive.
The food was ok, but the restaurant needs updating, carpets were stained and everything looked tired overall. We found that prices do not match the entire ambience.
The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. This restaurant is definitely one of our favorites and we hope to come back more often!
