The Landing Resort - Hayward

I just had a meal here and I was pleasantly surprised. The cabin setup is quite nice, as far as I can tell. The food is fairly good and the prices are excellent. The service is usually quick and friendly. The chef, a guy in his 40s or 50s, seems really approachable and does a great job in the kitchen.

Cam next door. Half the time was great. Half the time is pretty bad. Food was always excellent. Most waitresses are good. One was pretty rude. We're tough. Just let it roll off our back, but she brought it to her attention.

Fantastic place! Rich in history with a wonderful atmosphere! The fish fry is excellent, and they offer refreshing cold drinks. The location is perfect, and their large ice cream servings are a real treat! Definitely a must-visit spot!

Great place for Friday fish fry. Usually you get the steak dinner that is delicious. If you have a bar, you can have a drink with your dinner or even some ice cream on a hot summer day.

We had an incredible Friday night Walleye fish fry at The Landing tonight. Linda was an outstanding server, and Denny was, as always, prompt with the drinks. The whole team was really working hard, and it made a tremendous difference. The service was fast, the food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time overall. You can't beat it! This is definitely the best spot for Walleye fish fry in Hayward, without a doubt!
